Poems

No t upon a log, with rolling hills and winds so strong

The forest all around, where little birds could sing they’re song
A melody so stunning, only God He could provide
For in this wondrous world, there is no place for Love to hide

I looked up, towards the sky, to cast a prayer upon a cloud
Being thankful for my life, my dedication I have vowed
A rainbow then appeared, I knew at once what it implied
For in this wondrous world, there is no place for Love to hide

The rain had softly fallen, a drop was sparkling on a leaf
So bright it shone, against the gloom, reflecting my belief
Any doubts that I had carried, were all gently pushed aside
For in this wondrous world, there is no place for Love to hide

As I left my log and started back, along the steady lane
I knew I felt complete, and that this feeling would remain
The joy within me grew, with every single step and stride
For in this wondrous world, there is no place for Love to hide

My Love So Deep, My Love So Tall

For all that you saw, for all that they did
For all that you heard, and the times that you hid
For all of your pain, for all of your tears
For all of your sorrow, over all of the years

I hung on the Cross, to bear it all
As My Love is so deep, My Love is so tall

For all who didn’t listen, for all of their lies
For all of your anger, and your heart wrenching cries
For all that you lost, as your world fell apart
For all you let go of, when I mended your heart

I hung on the Cross, to carry it all
As My Love is so deep, My Love is so tall

For all of your trust, as I held out My hand
For all of your faith, in My Promised Land
For all you do now, for all that you shine
For all that is hard, as I make you Mine

I hung on the Cross, to create it all
As My Love is so deep, My Love is so tall

So for all that you are and all that you’ll be
Remember the Son, whose death set you free
Together as one, we’ll go through it all
As My Love is so deep, My Love is so tall
